2) Are looking to add to their team and need help training their repsHow many clients do you work withI keep my advising business small, typically 5-7 clients at a time but never more than 10. Because of this I require a discovery call before working together. The purpose of the call is to assess mutual fit, and not to sell you on my advising services.How long does an advising engagement lastMost of my engagements last beyond 6 months, but my minimum commitment is for at least 6 months of us working together. My goal is always to be replaced, because my job is to position you and your company to operate without my guidance.Do you have an advising "system"I do not. I believe each relationship requires something very different depending on the age of the business, vertical, team, etc. My goal is not to provide a "one-size-fits-all" approach.
